The Chess for Peace Group arrived in Moscow earlier today. The weather in Moscow is pretty nice, not as cold as I expected. This blog is sent from an Internet Cafe at the Red Square. Internet is hard to find. I had to take a bus then transferred to the subway to get here. The next blog will probably have pictures from Moscow 🙂
Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Man Susan, all that trouble just for us? 🙂
You do mean “Wo”Man?
In Russia you can get an internet card from a kiosk or neighborhood store or mobile phone store. Then you can dial up internet from any phone, such as in your hotel. It’s cheap and good!
Back in the USSR! Thank you for your effort to keep us informed of your trip. Very exciting, but for us left behind, at least I will now go back to continue watching your DVD “Winning Chess the Easy Way Bobby Fischer’s Most Brilliant INstructional Games and Combinations”. A little off topic but I have to say, you are getting more beautiful As Time Goes By. Thank you again for all you are doing for Chess and have an enjoyable and productive trip.
How many Kids went to Moscow with you Susan?
Thanks GM Polgar.

Internet is expensive. The hotels may charge you a fortune. Be careful.
Thanks for the tips! Many pictures have been posted on http://www.chessforpeace.blogspot.com. I will post another 300 or so pics next week.
Best wishes,
Susan Polgar

Terrible news, Susan has been arrested today and imprisoned in a Soviet Gulag! She will not be allowed to communicate with the outside world now or at any time in the future. Please send all relief donations to chesstraveler, General Delivery, USA
