— Vietnamese chess grandmaster Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son made an exceptional finish to the 41st World Chess Olympiad in Norway on Thursday as he claimed the gold medal on Board 2 with an 11-game unbeaten run. Meanwhile, the Vietnamese men’s team, with 14 points following five wins, four draws and two losses, ranked 27th of the 152 participating teams at the Olympiad.
