WOWOW!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
I know that older people have been *awarded* the GM title, but is Larry Kaufman the oldest person to *earn* the GM title?
No. The Oldest person in the world is Spam Sloon.
I am very happy for you, Mr Kaufman. I read the July 2008 edition of Chess Life where you joked that you might be able to win the Senior World Open and become a GM “if Korchnoi does not show up”. LOL.
I am glad you could fulfil that dream. Good luck to you and your son who I hear has made his final IM norm.
Brilliant performance.
Any chance of now seeing an updated version of Chess Advantage by GM Larry Kaufman?

Now a GM is part of the Rybka team! LOL
