There will be a few very interesting battles in the final round of the SL Invitational.
IM Marc Arnold, who is at +3, will have white against IM Molner, who is at +2. If Arnold draws or wins, he will get a GM norm. If Molner wins, he will get a GM norm.
In the mean time, IM Sevillano (who is up by a couple of pawns against IM Gerzhoy and he needs to convert to remain in the GM norm chase) will have black against GM Finegold and IM Yang will have black against IM Brooks. If Sevillano (only if he wins in round 8) and Yang win with black, they will both get a GM norm.
So no many what, at least one GM norm will be earned, either by Arnold or Molner. But there is a chance for 3 GM norm to be earned.
