The final stage of the The FIDE Online Juniors World Blitz Championship Semifinal was held on 22nd October, at 13:00 GMT/UTC, on the official FIDE Online platform.
The event was a 16 player round-robin tournament with a total prize fund in the amount of US$ 4,250 and US$ 1,000 reserved for the winner.
The Championship consisted of 8 qualifier tournaments, a semifinal and a final tournament and World #16 junior GM Matthias Bluebaum stormed through all stages to be crowned FOA juniors blitz champion.
The German star collected 12/15 points, leaving the nearest followers 1.5 points behind.
Francesco Claudio Agnello from Italy and FM Marko Sokac from Croatia tied for the second place with 10.5 points. Agnello took the silver medal on a superior tie-break score, while Sokac remained third.
