Jyväs-Shakki chess club organizes the 25th Heart of Finland Open Chess Tournament from 13-19th July at the JAMK University of Applied Sciences in Jyväskylä, Finland.
The 9-round Swiss tournament is ELO rated and it is possible to reach FIDE title norms.
Estonian players GM Kaido Kulaots and IM Kalle Kiik took the lead with perfect 4/4 score.
The third place is shared by FM Mikkel Manosri Jacobsen of Denmark, IM Mikael Agopov of Finland, GM Jevgeni Solozhenkin and IM Vadim Moiseenko, both of Russia, and FM Pekka Koykka of Finland at 3,5 points each. Standings below.
