Girls Chess Tournament
The North Carolina Chess Association will hold a girls chess tournament on Saturday, April 13, at First United Methodist Church, 114 Church St., Henderson. Rounds will be at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Registration ends at 9 a.m. Girls must be USCP members, a N.C. resident and in grade K-12. Cost is $25 before Saturday, March 30; $35 after. 252-738-0375.
