After the Knight Raiders Chess Club meeting, GM Hammer, GM Diamant, IM Papp, IM Antal, IM Kuljasevic, and law student Konstantin Pahomenko (also a member of the Knight Raiders chess team) took on other Texas Tech students in soccer at the Recreational Center. The format is knockout. The team which scores the first 2 goals advances. The chess players dominated their competition. They won 8 straight matches!
