Free chess tourney planned

A Chess Club of Minnesota-sponsored chess tournament will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Eden Prairie Library, 565 Prairie Center Drive. Players of all levels and ages are welcome to attend. According to a news release, “the tournament is a quick chess, quad style format. Players are divided into groups of four by their rating, age or experience level. Players compete against each participant in their group one time, for a total of three games.
