First Vaujany International Chess Festival

Welcome on the PROMO-ECHECS web site. For 33 years, promo-echecs has been organizing the International Chess Festival of Val Thorens. In 2010, the Chess Festival leaves Val-Thorens and moves to Vaujany, 50 kms south of Grenoble, in the wonderful Oisans mountain range. We invite you to visit our web site and discover the program and many other useful informations. Some parts of our web site are currently in french, but for most important ones an english version is available. Titled players (MI/GMI) who wish to be invited should have a look at the “Invitations” section and contact the organisers since only a limited number of titled players can be invited.
