I think the first four rounds are key for Ivanchuk. I would not be surprised if he went 3/4, given his success of late. Winning against van Wely would be a good start.
I’m sure Kramnik will NOT reveal his latest opening preparations but rather will try to use the tournament for live-game practice mainly for middlegame and endgame training…
