Leeam’s first ever rated game – He won by sacrificing his Queen. He has been watching too many of Aunt Judit’s games 🙂
Update: Leeam has won his first 2 games, lost the 3rd and won the last 2. He ended up in 2nd place with 4/5. Leeam’s brother Tommy won his section but he was VERY FORTUNATE to draw against Alexandra Wiener, Polgar Representative from Connecticut. Alexandra played a very nice game and got an excellent psotion. Unfortunately, she lost on time but he did not have sufficient mating material thus draw.

Congrats trainer Mom!
Yes, congratulations. As Nigel Short once put it: “forget strategy, forget material; chekmate ends the game”. But will we get to see the game itself?
Post the game. 🙂
would love to see that game
pgn files? annotations?
What was the time control on the games.
I too would like to see the game where Leeam sacs a queen to win. first tournament. look out if he becomes interested in this game.
I wanna play Leeam now while I still have a chance to beat him. LOL.
At 6 years old I would probably have sacrificed all my pieces to save my Queen LOL. Congrats Leeam and a great way to win your first tournament game!
