A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 3 to10 August 2014, during the Chess Olympiad, in Tromso, Norway, by the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission, in cooperation with the Norwegian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer will be IA Dirk De Ridder (BEL), Secretary of the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and FIDE Lecturer.
The venue will be the Chess Olympiad Arena, playing venue of the Chess Olympiad.
The language of the Seminar will be English.
The participation will be free for all participants.
The Seminar will give FIDE Arbiter norms and titles, according to the Regulations for the titles of the Arbiters.
