FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Skokie, Illinois, USA

From 22 to 25 March 2010 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Skokie, Illinois, USA, by the North American Chess Association and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA David Sedgwick (ENG), member of the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and Assistant was IA and IO Sevan Muradian (USA).

The venue of the Seminar was the Holiday Inn Hotel in Skokie and the Seminar was held parallel to the World Amateur Chess Championship 2010.

The lectures were in English language.

6 National Arbiters from USA and Mexico participated in the Seminar. The following five (5) succeeded in the examination test that was held after the lectures and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
