Fan Yun (Indiana) won the 2010 Women’s World Amateur Chess Champion on tiebreaks over Anu Bayar of Mongolia. For this victory, she is awarded the WFM title, a FIDE rating 2050, and a scholarship to Texas Tech University (Approximately $36,000 value for out of state student).

Andrew Hubbard (Illinois) won the 2010 World Amateur Chess Championship. For this victory, he is award the FM title, $3,000, the FM title, a FIDE rating of 2200, and a scholarship to Texas Tech University (Approximately $36,000 value for out of state student).
