European Women’s Chess Championship in Tbilisi?

Tbilisi may host the European Woman’s Individual Chess Championship between May 7 and 25 this year.
Gia Giorgadze, President of the Georgian Chess Federation, explained that the Championship was planned for March in the city of Gaziantep, Turkey, however the Turkish Chess Federation was unable to meet the European Chess Union’s requirements and forfeited the right to hold the tournament.
Georgia has made a statement and the issue will be resolved within in a week.
