Don’t laugh. I can.

Just let ESPN obtain the rights to any or all of the above and watch as the network suddenly starts hyping its newest properties. If you don’t believe that’s possible, then you haven’t been watching TV lately.

ESPN’s recent acquisition of the rights to broadcast both NASCAR and the Arena Football League has allowed both to receive previously unseen affection from the Worldwide Leader. Visit any of the network’s news outlets – the TV channel, the magazine, the .com site – and find coverage of auto racing and indoor football it traditionally hasn’t deemed so important.
