Main line:
1. Bc6 Qxc6
2. Rxd6 Qxd6
3. Qg7#
I like:
1. Bc6! Qxc6? (otherwise quality loss on e8)
2. Rxd6! Qxd6 (Qd7 Rxd7)
3. Qg7#
Conclusion:
1. Bc6 must win at least a quality.
But I think may be 2 qualities! Here is also a fork motive:
1. … Qe7/Qf7
2. Bxe8 Rxb8/Qxb8
3. Nf6+
wins quality number two.
Totally crushing.
Is it the spectacular
1. Bc6!
if 1…..Qxc6
2. Rxd6! threatening black’s Q
and mate on g7.
In my first post, I saw an open diagonal for my queen when Rd4 wasn’t moved yet, so of course the fork motive Nf6 must be delayed.
1. Bc6 Qf7 (Qxc6?? Rxd6 wins the queen)
2. Bxe8 Rxe8
White is certainly better, up with a quality, but I don’t see a very quick win here…
Black may have the threat Bxc4 here, so maybe white plays
3. Rd3 Rf8 (preventing Nf6 or even Qf6)
4. b3 (preventing Bxc4)
I’d play
1. Bc6 .. Qf7
2. Re1 .. Re7
3. Rd3, followed by Re3, to win a piece, not just the exchange. But i haven’t calculated thoroughly…
1.Be6 if Qxc6 2 Rxd6 and the queen is gone otherwise mate
1…Qe7 2 Bxe8 and winning the exchange
White can win the exchange:
1. Bc6! Qe7
1. … Qxc6
2. Rxd6! and Black is toast, because White threatens Qg7 mate and Rxc6.
2. Bxe8 Rxe8 and White should win.
How about:
1. Bc6 Qxc6
2. Rxd6 Qxd6
3. Qg7+#
If not 1. … Qxc6, then there is, of course, Bxd8 and the exchange.
