Hi from Israel Susan
1. Rxf7 Qxf7 (if rook takes, then Nxg6+ and queen is lost…)
2. Nxg6+ Qxg6 (if Kg7, then Nxe5+…)
3. Qxg6 …
A queen and 2 pawns are won for just a rook and a knight…
it is a queen and one pawn for a rook and knight I am pretty sure.
1.Rxf7!! Rxf7 (or 1…Qxf7 2.Nxg6+ Kg7 [2…Qxg6? 3.Qxg6 followed by mate in 2 moves]3.Nxe5+) 2.Nxg6+ followed by 3.Nxe7+
Ulf Andersson probably has a higher percentage of draws than any player of such a high class. But he was able to create some beautiful games on occasion.
