Today is the 15th of May. There is no news from FIDE about the transfer of $935,000. The previous deadline was May 12 but it was extended to May 15 because of this request:

This Alexander Chernenko apparently made his fortune after the fall of the USSR in textbook publishing; now he’s apparently dealing in precious stones from Ghana. It appears to be a matter of national pride with him (he was once a correspondence candidate-master). Sounds on the up-and-up to me.
Chessbase is reporting that the bank guarantee was received by FIDE for a $750,000 prize fund match to take place in Lvov, Ukraine. More info is supposed to follow tomorrow.
