Yes, 1. …Rb1 is superior to 1. ….Nc3 since the latter line seems to allow white to at least get a rook and knight for the queen.
Yeah, Anup Jalan!! Black with a queen and extra pawns vs White with a rook. Black has very strong attacks against White, so that’s why 1…Rb1!! is much stronger than 1…Nc3+.
