No, you didn’t solve it.
You need to consider the alternatives at move 3 for black like 3. ….Kf5 and 3. …Kg5.
NxQ threatening mate with the Queen or Rook…White can avoid check but they will be down a Queen and a Rook.
I meant to say white can avoid checkmate
