The first move is pretty obvious, but white does have to take care on the second move- 2.Qg8+ is probably not winning- at least I can’t find a win in that line for white, and it may well lose, though I think it more likely a repetitiion draw if white is careful.
Maybe. I didn’t spend enough time on this line yesterday for the same reason- I saw 2.Qe6 instantly, but on further reflection, 2.Qg8 might still mate, but I don’t see a mate in under 7-8 moves total, and maybe more.
MATE IN 3.

Yes, very straightforward

Re8xKnc8+, Kb8xRc8, Qe6+, Kd8, Bf6++
I saw 2 qe6 ch and didn’t consider anything else.
However it appears
2 qn8 kd7
3 qf7 kd6
3 qf6 …. will force mate.

The correct line is as suggested by Xeno:
1. Rxc8+ Kxc8
2. Qe6+
If
2. . . Kb8
3. Qe8 mate
If
2. .. Kd8
3. Bf6 mate
