Let me predict:
R. Ponomariov – V. Kramnik..1/2-1/2
V. Anand – P. Svidler…….1/2-1/2
L. Aronian – M. Carlsen…..1-0
S. Karjakin – A. Motylev….1/2-1/2
A. Shirov – L. van Wely…..1-0
S. Tiviakov – V. Topalov….0-1
D. Navara – T. Radjabov…..1/2-1/2
Melody, Montreal
ok im gonna make some bets on this.
i like kramnik the smooth one against the grinder ponmariov.
anand and svidler a draw since anand seems to be lacking form and svidler is always solid.
aronian and his unorthadox moves should take carslen. the youngster needs to hone his skills. hes way out of his league against the big boys.
karajken should lay waste to moytlev. karajken is looking to take the next step into the upper echelon of super grandmasters. watch out for this kid hes got serious ability.
shirov over the outclassed dutchman van wely. although the gambler shirov isnt looking good.
topalov is looking strong he should take Tiviakov. im thiking topalov has taken his scripts from kasparov opening theory. convert a dominate opening into an easy win.
navara and radjabov a draw. this navara is one of those players doesnt get talked about much but has skills. radjabov is just a machine.
thats it im out. later.

i hope that ress day is good for chess fight 🙂
that’s why i thing…
Kramnik win
Navara will not play to draw in the end lose
Shirov and Topalov should win
Chess friend from Czech
Do you reckon Topalov could be cheating?!
His play matched computer 100%(!!) defending the lost position against Karjakin and in his two won games. He ignored human moves, like simple endgame victories to go for the more complex computer recommendations!
Think Hensel should file a complaint!
As we all know, Navara is an interesting player, because he is the first autistic super GM (could be the first autistic GM for that matter?). Anyway, anyone know whether communicates with his opponents at all? In post portem or anything?
To the annonymous jerk insulting GM Navara above:
I bet you are a Kramnik supporter, are you?
Insulting Navara? He IS autistic. It’s common knowledge, not a secret at all. Navara has autism. What is the insult? Some people are born with that condition, and it’s not an insult to mention it. It’s interesting in fact. Can he train chess 16 hrs a day without getting bored? Does he communicate with his opponents?
It would be interesting to read more about him.
He is normal player 🙂 He speak well, study university. Learn chess 6-8 hour s all day. He is able to TV interview 🙂 He has no problem communicate with his opponents. He will grow up
Navara is not authistic, there is only small difference between geniality and idiocy 😉 check you moron http://www.chessvibes.com/?p=487 where he speak fluently in russian with aronian
@anonymous above,
I’m not the same anonymous that posted about the autism, but I do concur with him/her.
There are varying degrees of functionality amongst people with Autism. It may well be that Navara has a high-functioning level of Autism, or perhaps even something along the lines of Asperger’s. Speaking of which, it is often speculated that Bobby Fischer may have had Asperger’s, and as you know, he could hold a conversation with people, even though he was eccentric.
I do not know if such and such GM is autistic or likes to eat broccoli. It’s not the point. The point is only jerks and losers would bring up personality issues when discussing chess games. These are the same kind of people that insult Topalov and suck up to and Kramnik with “Vlad the Lad”. Chess is a game of strategy not a pageant or popularity contest. Fisher is the greatest and I don’t care if he had Asperger’s. He beat and humiliated all the soviet scheemers in a single year and that’s enough.
fwvmlwpyShame on myself, here the first prediction is mine and very bad. although I support Radjabov, I thought it would be a draw, GREAT RADJABOV ! Shirov lost again, what is happening?
Radjabov, who knows, maybe he’ll be the champion !
GO RADJABOV !!!
