The XIth Corsica Masters will take place in Bastia, (oct 28th/30th) with 100.000 € of prizes. Before the 25th and 26th)in Ajaccio (Napoleon’City) is organized the european and french blitz championship (30.000 €).

I am always learning something new in this blog. This time: Corsica is a land of chess! Corsica’s population is a little bit over 14 Million and it has a little bit less than 5000 chess players registered! It is about 2% of the population. I might be wrong because my Math is poor.
