Congratulations to GM Alex Onischuk for his new position as Head Coach of the Texas Tech Chess Team. It is an excellent choice made by the university. In addition, TT also hired former USCF Executive Director Al Lawrence as Director of the chess program. They are both good friends and I am very happy for them.
