FM Joseph Bradford, another Austin resident, was in contention for an IM norm. As I said yesterday, he is more than strong enough to be an IM. However, he needed to win against IM Irina Krush with the Black pieces to get the IM norm and he did it! Here is the game:

[White “Krush, Irina”]
[Black “Bradford, Joseph Mark”]
[Result “0-1”]
[White ELO “2488”]
