Computer Chess Event
by Jan Krabbenbos
The Dutch Computer Chess Federation (CSVN) is organising its 29th Open Dutch Computer Chess Championship from 16 until 18 October 2009 in Leiden. The CSVN has the longest running national championship for computer chess programs in the world!
At this moment 9 programs will take part, of which at least 4 of the programs participated in Pamplona last May, including the World Champion Rybka and the number 3 Deep Sjeng. We are still looking for at least one extra program to make the group even – for an invitation or for more information and results during the championship visit our websites: http://www.computerschaak.nl or http://www.csvn.nl.

Fritz will win this year.
Fritz was good for its time, but it can no longer hold its own against the new kids on the block (Rybka, Naum) and the always amazing Shredder. Rybka and Deep Sjeng will probably be fighting for first place in this very interesting event.
I want a Polgar Mephisto.
