Kim Clijsters, after retiring for 2 years, has made a Cinderella comeback in Flushing Meadow. She needed a wild card just to be able to compete at the U.S. Open and she made the best of it.

After defeating Venus Williams to get into the quarterfinal, she defeated the defending champion Serena Williams 6-5, 7-5 to reach U.S. Open final!

She will now face the #8 seed Caroline Wozniacki from Denmark in the final.
