It looks like in video-1 the King and Queen are reversed, and in video-2 and video-3 the board is rotated incorrectly, with a dark square in the lower right-hand corner (under White’s King Rook.) Both of these mistakes are so prevalent in the “secular” media that it’s somewhat of a surprise to see the board and pieces set up correctly.

On the first one the last move is weird. The same colored pawn hits the king, then moves back as if it would be a knight.
But I took that as “artistic freedom”, it is a neat video.

They are not as smooth and polished as the #1 that Susan posted, but, hey, they were made by a second grader!
Here’s Something Weird:
I saw this Advertisement during the Grammy’s last night on a friend’s super-sharp HDTV set. In that version of the ad, Jay-Z has his King on g1, and a Rook on f1. He moves his rook from f1 to h1 and proclaims “This game is O’vah!… (I wonder if he knows).” This illegal move was crystal clear when we re-wound the TiVO cache.
Weirdly, however, in the version of the same ad as seen on YouTube, Jay-Z seems to be making a legal move, that is, Moving his rook from g1 to h1, while his king is on f1. Also, the positon on the board is significantly different. Though his move is legal in this version, his assesment of the strength of his position is, I think, incorrect. (Perhaps by “This game is O’vah!” he means that he feels like he has lost, but his tone of voice seems to suggest optimism.)

Either way, it is another example of chess in the media.
Did anyone else catch the version of this ad that is now being broadcast in HD?
