1. Qh8+ Ke7
2. Qf8+
1. Qh8+ Kf7
2. Qe8+ and a draw by repetition. It’s the right thing to do.
uuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh…..
What’s wrong with just taking the Black queen after 2. Qf8+ and winning the game?
1.Qh8+
if 1. … Kg5 or Kg6 then 2.Rg8#
1. …Ke7 2.Qf8 Kf6 3.Qxc5
Black will however have quite a few pawns and both bishops however the white rook and queen seem to be in good enough positions to prevent black from queening any of his pawns.
kidding. 🙂
This is awkwardly easy and it’s not even friday-get-drunk!
Here is a funny from the nut-file,
a little gem on anagrams from rec.chess:
Sam Sloan, though, can be anagrammed to “Anal Moss”. Most readers here will have caught this, of course.
I think I hurt myself laughing…
Anal Moss???!!!
ROTFLMAO!
Susan, qh8 and there’s a draw or a wiinning game….:)
After 1.Qh8+ Ke7 2.Qf8+ Kf6 should White just settle for the perpetual with 3.Qh8+, or does he have a win with 3.Qxc5?
