1. fxe5 Ng3+
2. Kh2 Nf5
3. Bxf5 Rxf3
4. Rxf3 Qb2
5. Rf2 Qc3
6. Qf1 Rxf2
7. Qxf2 gxf5
8. Qxf5 +-
i’m bold! once again i dare to throw a line in…
1.fxe5 ng3+
(1…dxe5? 2.rf7+ kg8, 3.rf8+ kg7, 4.r1f7#)
2.kg1! nxf1
3.qxf1 ra1 (i like queen pins!)
4.rf7+ (revenge!)
4…kg8
5.e6!! (again the winning move … ^^ i wonder about the real identity of blogger minimatt ^^)
5…rxf1+ (what else?)
6.bxf1!! … and now the only way to avoid mate by 7.nf6+ kh8 8.rxh7# is
6… qb2 (poor black queen…)
7.nf6+ qxf6
8.rxf6 …
and the ending is clearly better for white (the e6 pawn will make the race … after rf7 – and then slowly but surely e7, e8, and win…)
greetings to all from blogger “the nightmare” – Vohaul 🙂
PS: my line is a sarcastic one – there might be of course a better way to improve for white …!
typo correction:
minimatt = MISIMATT *sorry
mea culpa – your’s forever, Vohaul … ^^
Perhaps there is another win by 1. fxe5 Ng3+ 2. Rxg3! Rxd3 (2…h5 3 Rf7+!) 3 Rxd3 Qxd3 (3…Nxd3 4 e6) 4 Qxd3 Nxd3 5 e6. Two threats of 6 Rf7+ and 6 e7 are impossible to stop.
Hey vohaul,
in your line e6 wins in the third move too 🙂
1. fxe5 Ng3+
2. Kg1 Nxf1
3. e6! and now…
3…Rxg2+
4. Kxg2 Re3+
5. Rxe3 Nxd3
6. Qf1 +-
Cheers. 🙂
