The 2012 edition of the strongest and largest team chess competition is going to be with the record breaking 162 countries. Here is the list of teams in the open section, for which we know the participants. The women section teams will be published tomorrow.
The list is sorted by federation and not by players’ ELO. Federations with no teams announced yet are not present in the participants list.
Updated list of teams here. The biggest surprise so far is Carlsen and Hammer are not playing for Norway. Anand once again is not playing for India. More line ups to come later.
