In this print ad, a girl playing chess is on the same cow statue. A headline calls the milk “a smart move for growing brains.”
The commercial appearing on the Disney Channel features a girl playing chess with her grandfather. Because the channel’s rules on advertising discourage product claims, the spiel about DHA omega-3 is omitted.
Instead, the grandfather pours a glass of milk from a carton of Horizon Organic Milk Plus DHA Omega-3 and asks his granddaughter at the chess board, “Need a little more time?”
She replies: “Nope. Checkmate.” The grandfather laughs. An announcer comes on and declares the milk to be a “smart move,” then adds the line about how it is a “proud sponsor” of the channel.
Very cool and effective.
Unfortunately, the move in the commercial is NOT checkmate. The Black Knight can take the Queen!
