Any news of Fischer’s health problems?
Would like to see the return of Susan Polgar to competitive chess.
How about a million dollar Event that goes something like Judit Polgar vs. Xu Yuhua then Susan Polgar vs. Humpy Koneru and then the 2 winners play a match for $1 million?

Not a difficult target to meet since there is hardly any of this today.
I would play for $1 Million !
What I would like to see for 2008:
First, I’d like to see what thoughts the USCF Chairman and the USCF Vice President for Marketing have on providing American Championship Challenger Gata Kamsky the needed funding to compete in his semi final match versus Veselin Topalov and, should he win, the final match versus the Anand/Kramnik winner.

USCF President Bill Goichberg stated on the USCF Forums that: “What I wrote was that USCF does not have the funds to help, but that it is important that we pursue the possibility of finding sponsorship. A campaign involving an appeal to the membership in Chess Life and on our website might be part of such an effort.”
Surely there must be a better answer.
I’m looking forward most to the Topalov-Kamsky match.

Kramnik – Anand it will be the most important chess event of 2008 (at least for me!)
