I tend to like Bc5, but I don’t see what happens after Black responds…Qc6
I’d love to find a nice follow-up for white after Bxf7+ Kxf7 / Qc4+ Be6 / fxe6 Rxe6…
how about 1. Bc5 Qc6 2. Rac1…with long term threat against the black c pawn. White is also threatening to play Qb3 but with the rook now on c1
1.Qb3 winning the exchange.
1. Bxf7+ Kxf7
2. Qc4+ Be6
3. fxe6+ Rxe6
at this point, white is better.. the black king area has weaknesses.
White can try several plans. Nothing wins outright though.
One plan would be 4. Rad1 Kg8 (prevents Rd7+). At this point, 5. Rxf6 gxf6 is probably not sound, but looks interesting.
Another plan would be to 4. Rac1 first, and if 4… c6, then 5. Rce1 R8e8, 6. Rxe6 Rxe6, 7. Re1 winning
A third plan is
4. Rae1 R8e8
5. Rxe6 Rxe6
7. Re1 any
8. Rxe6 Qxe6
9. Qxc7+
winning a pawn, and black having no real compensation for it.
1.Rad1 Rac8
(1…Rad8 2.Bxf7+ Kxf7 3.Qc4+ Be6 4.fxe6+ Kg6 5.Qc2+ Kh6 6.Bd2+ Rxd2 7.Qxd2+ Kg6 8.Qd3+ Kh6 9.Qh3+ Kg6 10.Qf5+ Kh6 11.Rf4 Qf2 12.Rxf2)
2.Bxf7+ Kh8
(2…Kxf7 3.Qc4+ Ravi Kumar Meduri-Rybka 2.3.2a mp 32-bit Be6 4.Rd7+ Kg8 5.fxe6 Ravi Kumar Meduri-Rybka 2.3.2a mp 32-bit Qxe6 6.Qxe6+ Rxe6)
3.Bxe8 Bxe8
