Re: Chess Training
There will be a Chess Coaches Training Course (Level II) for all Chess team coaches on Saturday and Sunday, November 17-18, 2006 from 8:00am to 4:00pm, at the Central Middle School Training Center / Cafeteria, Brownsville, Texas. This course will be conducted by Grandmaster Susan Polgar, winner of 4 Women’s World Championships and 5 Olympic Gold medals.
In addition to the training, each coach / participant will receive an official Susan Polgar Foundation Chess Teaching Kit which includes an official TRAINING CERTIFICATE, tournament regulation set and board, a digital chess clock, a chess carrying bag, a large demo board, all the training material (approximately $125 value) needed to get started or a set of 6 training DVDs by Susan Polgar (approximately $175 value).
*COACHES – ANY PARENT ASSISTANT OR PERSON CAN JOIN US FOR THE TRAINING AT A SPECIAL LOW COST OF $299 PER PERSON.

Susun, GREAT PHOTO on the cover of Chess LIfe today
I didn’t know you could kick a soccer ball so well!!
I thought Susan was right-handed and -footed. So why does the Chess Life cover show her kicking leftie? Did they mirror image the photo?
And kicking with open toed shuze, ouch!
I could not help noticing that many of the Chess Life photos were ones I had already seen on the web.
