12 finalists for National Toy Hall of Fame

Playing cards or the dollhouse could join the stick and Barbie in The Strong’s National Toy Hall of Fame.
The museum announced 12 finalists Friday for two spots to be announced on Nov. 4.
The other finalists: Cabbage Patch Kids, chess, dominoes, Dungeons & Dragons, The Game of Life, Hot Wheels, Lite Brite, Magic 8 Ball, the pogo stick and Rubik’s Cube.
Last year’s inductees were the ball, the Big Wheel and Nintendo Game Boy.
