Good for her. I hope more women will play chess.
That’s great! I welcome as many women into chess as possible. Especially since chess has a bad PR problem of coming off too nerd-scary. The more that women enter chess the sexier chess becomes. This is because it makes chess club more of a place where men can meat girls. In my opinion, what corporations like Fide need to do to get more people playing chess is to market towards women.
Anyway, hurray for Iraq becoming more peaceful!
