Another unlikely locus of chess activity is inner-city New York. The acclaimed documentary “Brooklyn Castle,” screening tonight (Friday) through Sunday at Webster University, recounts how an impoverished school has consistently fielded the top chess team in the country. It screens at 7:30 p.m. in Moore Auditorium, 470 East Lockwood. General admission is $6. For more information, call 314- 968-7487.
