GOOOOO IRINA KRUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3
Congratulations to IM Irina Krush for her third US Women’s Champion title – a well fought tournament and well deserved title.
I was impressed with the play of all the women this year, particularly Abby Marshall, who never gave up and always fought hard in her games. Her results belie her fighting spirit. She will go far if she wants to. Indeed, it seems she gave the most trouble to the leaders Zatonskih and Krush!
It was a wonderful championship to watch, and who could have predicted that it would take 8.0/9 to win???
Congratulations to Irina Krush for mustering the inner strength to overcome adversity and recapture the U.S. Women’s Championship. And congratulations to all the participants for a hard-fought event!
A great tournament, next stop GM Krush.
It is great that we have so many strong women players. It is nice to see Irina win. Now I will hope to see Tatev Abrahamyan be champion next year. I also look forward to seeing Abby Marshall in the winners circle. Go Abby Go.
Anna you know I have been rooting for you the past few years and it was nice of you to allow Irina this opportunity to be Champion. I know you will be back in the winners circle very soon.
