Former World Chess Champion (2000-2007) and top rated player (world number 1 according to FIDE ELO list in the 1-st of January 2008) Vladimir Kramnik will play a match against the number 1 Grandmaster of the Czech Republic, David Navara.
The match of 8 games in rapid chess will be the main event of the festival CEZ CHESS TROPHY 2008 and will take place in the Czech Republic in Prague from the 14-th of May till the 18-th of May 2008.
CEZ CHESS TROPHY 2008 is organised by The Prague Chess Society. We are happy that Vladimir Kramnik agreed on the match against David Navara.
