lol it seems IM and GM titles must be changed conversely. IM’s beating GMs that is the fruit of computer softwares i think. there is not so much margin between a practiced IM and a “normal” GM I think.
Yes, it is not a big deal when an IM beats a GM.
Every 9-round round Swiss, some untitled player beats an IM or a GM.
We shouldn’t take a rating or a title too seriously to expect a result in a single game of chess.
