In 2012 elementary school textbooks to be free in Armenia

YEREVAN. – In 2012, all elementary school textbooks will be free in Armenia, Armenian Minister of Education Armen Ashotyan announced during the government session on Thursday.
According to Ashotyan, it is the first time that elementary school textbooks will be handed out for free.
Besides, AMD 114 million will be donated to the Chess Academy for publishing textbooks, teacher guides for chess class in schools.
