Beware of CHESS SCAM!

I was recently alerted about another Chess Scam to steal people’s money. This scam uses my name, and SPICE. It offers people the opportunity to make $25 million dollars for being an Ambassador for SPICE for 1 year. 

But before this can happen, you must send money to this SCAM company. This simply does not exist, and I hope that chess players are smart enough to understand this obvious scam. 

No one in chess, not even Magnus Carlsen, gets $25 million per year to be an Ambassador of anything. If anyone asks you about this, please make sure you let them know that this is an obvious scam and do NOT send money to anyone.

Below is an excerpt of the SCAM letter some chess players have received.

MESSAGE FROM SUSAN POLGAR
The goal of SPICE is to work with our friends and colleagues to enhance chess, education, technology, and research. I strongly believe that College Chess is a critical bridge between Scholastic and Adult Chess. If we can successfully promote College Chess, we will retain a lot more of our scholastic players and transition them to Adult Chess. Chess as a sport is not big enough yet and there is plenty of room to grow. Therefore, it is vital that we work together and assist each other for the best interest of our sport.

ABOUT THE CONTRACT
The Contract is a One (1) year deal starting from 1st of November 2013 to uncover the New SUSAN POLGAR SPICE Ambassador, the contract is worth $25million dollars for the duration of 1year, Spice would be responsible for the expenses paid on any business travel made in respect of SPICE, Susan Polgar and the Polgar sisters. NOTE: The Applicant must have a basic knowledge in chess, Must have a valid I.D (International Passport, National I.D or Drivers Licence) Not less than six 6 Months of expiry.
