Azerbaijani Chess-Players off to Germany for World Chess Olympic Games

Last night, the Azerbaijani men and women chess combined teams arrived in Dresden to take part in the World Chess Olympic Games, the Azerbaijani Chess Federation (ACF) told TrendNews.

Teymur Rajabov, Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Vugar Gashimov, Gadir Huseynov (a main staff) and Rauf Mammadov (a reserve player) enter the Azerbaijani men’s combined team.

Fikrat Fideidzade is the chief coach of men’s combined team.

Zeynab Mammadyarova, Turkan Mammadyarova, Nargiz Umudova, Narmin Kazimova (the main staff) and Khayala Iskandarova (a reserve player) will perform within the Azerbaijani female combined team.

Anar Allahverdiyev is the chief coach of the women’s combined team.

The World Chess Olympic Games will be held on 12-25 November.
