Re3.
Re3!!! if fe3 Qf3 wins
1…Re3
Move bishop to 5C
Haven’t checked this with an engine, but I thought this is the solution:
1. … Re3!
2. fxe3 Qxf3
3. Qc2 fxe3
(Now Qf2 is prevented and … e2 is threatened, closing the second rank for the white queen)
4. Re1 Bxg3!
5. hxg3 Qxg3+
6. Kh1 Qxe1+
7. Kh2 Qf2+
8. Qxf2 exf2
(and black promotes is a sample line, which looks forced)
..Re3!
fxe3? Qxf3 Qc2 fxg3 hxg3 Qxg3+ Kh1 Bg4! -+
fxe3? Qxf3 Qc2 fxg3 Re1 gxh2+ Qxh2 Bxh2+ Kxh2 Qg2#
Qd2 Qxf3 fxe3 fxg3 hxg3 Qxg3 Kh1 Bg4! -+
Qd2 Qxf3 fxe3 Qc2 gxh2+ Qxh2 Bxh2+ Kxh2 Qg2#
Qd1 Rxf3 -+
Re3, fxe3, Qxf3, Qc2, fxe3, Re1, Bxg3:
1) hxg3, Qxg3ch, Kh1, Qxe1ch, Kh2, Qd2ch, Qxd2, exd2 +
2) Qe2, Bf2ch +
Re3, fxe3, Qxf3, Qc2, fxe3, Re1, Bxg3:
1) hxg3, Qxg3ch, Kh1, Qxe1ch, Kh2, Qd2ch, Qxd2, exd2 +
2) Qe2, Bf2ch +
…Re3
1…. Re3
2.fxe3 Qxf3
3.Qd2 or Qc2 fxg3
4.hxg3 Qxg3+
5.Kh1 Qf3+
6.Kg1 Bf5
and white wins.
Re3 looks tempting. After fxe3, (otherwise N on f3 is lost), then Qxf3 and the white queen must retreat to d2 or c2. After that fxg3 looks irresistible as the bishops are about to crawl all over the white king’s position.
