The Chess Club & Scholastic Center of Saint Louis Club Championship was staged on 26-27th January at the Club’s headquarters in 4657 Maryland Ave., Saint Louis, MO 63108.

The Championship was held over five rounds of Swiss system with G/90 time control. 31 players competed.

Most of the eligible Grandmasters sat out but there were several IM’s in the field.

However, the 16-years old Iskandar Aripov of Uzbekistan, member of SPICE training program, took a clear first place with 4,5/5 points and the top prize of $500.
