I recognize Tarrasch, Lasker, Capablanca, & Marshall, but the fellow at the left-rear is a mystery to me. Janowski? Is this photo pre-WWI?
Yes, I know of this very famous photograph of the original grandmasters of chess and the present and next two world champions too! It is amazing these three dominated chess for 50 years between the three. We may never see such dominance ever by 3 players again for such a long time.
