It is an absolute dream for the organizer in Bazna to have Carlsen face Karjakin in the final round for the title. They are tied with 6/9 going into the final battle. Everyone else has been eliminated from contention.

Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Nakamura will crush Ivanchuk in 20 moves and he’ll win Bazna.
I guess you’re talking about Bazna 2012, for this year, he can crush him in 2 moves and still won’t make any difference, he’s out of contention.
Hope Karjakin wins, Too much has been made of Carlsen. H’ever it might be a draw with Carlsen winning on TB.
Go Sergey!!
This really looks bad for Chess with one classical game deciding the outcome of this tournament. They should try to change the format to a single blitz game. Or, alternatively, agree to a draw after 13 moves and let the ratings list or whoever won more games with black be the winner. To let it go as planned will create too much interest and then chess may become popular again.
How can too much be made of Carlsen? His results speak for themselves, and we often see wins from him which is something everyone’s complaining about in the candidates matches.
They will short draw.
Magnus is now 2821.3 elo according the last update of 20 June 2011

Should be a super exciting game!
The players must be tense tonight.
What happens if there is a tie?
Is that Fred Garvin?
If a draw, Magnus wins on tiebreak.
A brave draw… Karjakin deserves more! 🙂
